The Somali Animal Health Services Project Phase III (SAHSP-III) is designed to enhance animal health service delivery in Somalia to sustain livestock production and trade and thereby contribute to increased income and reduced food insecurity through private-sector led economic growth. The project is also designed to ensure that the Somali authorities will be ready and capable to effectively respond to outbreaks of trade-limiting diseases so as to minimise economic losses.
